Committees and Teams
COMMITTEES
NOMINTATING COMMITTEE
We fill the positions on committees and teams. We meet two to three times a year, in the summer.
STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE
We prepare the church’s budget and oversee the financial needs of the congregation. We meet monthly and count tithes and offerings each Sunday, too!
PERSONNEL COMMITTEE
We consider the need for new positions and current employed positions. We meet a minimum of once a year.
LONG-RANGE PLANNING COMMITTEE
We consider ELBC’s future abilities and how to get there. We meet a minimum of twice a year.
PROPERTY AND SPACE COMMITTEE
We look after the property and make recommendations for repairs/upgrades, as needed. We meet a minimum of twice a year.

TEAMS
MEDIA SERVICES TEAM
his is a service team. We provide access to copyrighted materials and equipment for church members.
BAPTISM TEAM
This is a service team. We help the pastor and new disciples on the day of their baptism.
YOUTH AND CHILDREN TEAM
We provide programs for discipleship of the younger members of our congregation. We meet a minimum of twice a year.
KITCHEN TEAM
We feed and help clean up! We have monthly family meals during the school year and other meals throughout the year.
USHER TEAM
We strive to be a welcoming face as people arrive to worship. We serve as front door greeters on a rotating schedule.
LORD'S SUPPER TEAM
We prepare the materials for Communion and put them away at the close of service. We serve each 5th Sunday.
SAFTEY TEAM
We look after the needs of the church in providing a safe environment for worship and discipleship. We meet one to two times a year.
LOCAL MISSIONS TEAM
We recommend and assist with mission activities and opportunities for our church in the community.
WORSHIP TEAM
We recommend hymns and worship music. We help lead, assist with special music, and participate in worship night, and help make sure the the worship is focused on Jesus.
We run the AV stuff. We meet a minimum of twice a year.
